The article describes the case of a 60-year-old male who has a significant history of Crohn's disease. He had been treating the diseases for two years by following the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. Laboratory tests showed that he had an obvious case of macrocytic anemia. His red blood cells (RBCs) were at 4.58 while his mean corpuscular volume (MCV) was at 97.7. The benefits he received from Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD) are discussed.
