- Abstract
The article titled "Family Funds of Knowledge and Educational Intervention" highlights the importance of social relationships in the construction of knowledge and their influence on life and education. Ethnography is used as a methodology to link the knowledge and experience of underserved communities to the scientific field. The book questions and reconceptualizes the deficit approach in the study of human groups, proposing the line of Family Funds of Knowledge as an alternative that values the strengths of families. Family Funds of Knowledge constitute an educational approach that seeks to leverage valuable family resources for the education of children and young people in deficit conditions in their homes.
