- Abstract
The paper presents the results of experimental investigations on the temperature at the edge of the tool, at the turning of the unalloyed steel, depending on the cutting conditions, with the object of simulating the cutting process in HSC conditions. For the determination of the temperature values there was used an experimental setup with natural thermocouple. To analyze the influence of the variation of the cutting parameters there were used an analytical relation and an analytical model using FEM module Cutting software package Deform-3D.
