Gustafson, Craig; Snyder, Suzanne
- Abstract
An interview with surgeon William J. Rea is presented. When asked about the time he shifted his practice from thoracic and cardiovascular to environmental, he refers to the period wherein more and more environmental patients have consulted to him since 1990s. He states that 95 percent of cancers are environmentally-induced diseases. However, he believes that U.S. health care providers do not take into consideration the impact of environmental concerns on the general health of Americans.
