- Title
VIOLATION OF THE RIGHT OF DEFENSE IN A PENAL TRIAL Decision coram Huber, 14 January 1997 (New York).
- Abstract
The article discusses a court case in 1994 wherein the respondent priest was accused by the New York Tribunal of a serious delict against the sixth commandment of the Decalogue with a minor. The respondent was found guilty in 1995 and appealed the decision in 1996, saying he was denied the right of defense. He claimed that neither the Prosecutor nor the Advocate were experts in penal law. The case was decided against the accused, stating that there is no proof of nullity of the sentence by the New York Tribunal in 1995.
