The article discusses the high risk of influenza infection in lung and hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) patients. It examines the development of symptoms such as fever and cough after transplantation particularly for patients with respiratory tract infection. It also cites the use of antibiotics in influenza-infected transplant recipients.
