- Abstract
The article discusses the social context and organization of ancient stone quarrying in Egypt. It says that the involvement workers to monument and pyramid construction in Egypt are considered as a complex understanding in terms of work force feeding. It explores the stone quarrying and production techniques featuring the use of fire as primary extraction technique. It adds that the social organization of ancient stone quarrying during the pyramid age was difficult to be attest archeologically.
