- Abstract
The article reports on the 24-year-old man who was diagnosed with a suspected cocaine-induced spinal cord infarction in Great Britain. The clinical examinations showed signs and symptoms that are associated with cocaine-induced infarction, but it proposed number of mechanisms including cerebral vasoconstriction and acute thrombosis. It is noted that there are no distinctive clinical or neuroradiological features to differentiate cocaine-induced from more common causes of ischaemic myelopathy.
