- Title
Finding time for allosteric interactions.
- Authors

- Abstract
The article describes an alternative approach for determining the allosteric interactions of compounds that bind to human serum albumin (HSA). Using bioinformatic chromatography, they show that allosteric interactions can be readily identified and the extent of the interactions between orthosteric and allosteric sites determined. Biointeraction chromatography can also be used to study competitive binding interactions. The binding of drugs to HSA has been studied extensively, primarily because HSA is readily available, soluble and pharmacologically important.
