- Abstract
The article offers information on the role of the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) in the research and training for nerve agents. The goal of the research institute is to discover and develop medical countermeasures to chemical warfare agents. Specifically the research is designed to find effective and safe countermeasures that would protect humans from the toxic effects of pesticides and nerve agent exposure.
