A total of 936 HF crossbred cows were screened for prevalence study by California mastitis test (CMT). Out of 936 cows, 466 cows were found to be positive. The cow-wise 49.78% prevalence and 27.31% quarter-wise prevalence was recorded. The prevalence of SCM affected hindquarters was 34.01% which was higher than the forequarters 20.64%. Right side quarters were more affected (32.50%) then the left side quarters 22.15%. The highest prevalence (57.27%) on cow basis was recorded in 4th parity and remains almost steady in subsequent parity.
