The article presents a comparative analysis of the property laws in places such as the U.S. and Europe as of 2013, and it mentions the bundle of sticks model of property ownership, as well as the author's tree concept of property. The civil and common laws in America are mentioned, along with the resource-specific nature of property law. The historical aspects of property rights are examined, along with legal realism, U.S. progressivism, and the late jurist Wesley N. Hohfeld's views.
