- Abstract
A plain computed tomography (CT) scan of the entire abdomen showed intestinal obstruction and a small amount of abdominal and pelvic effusion (Figure 1A). Learning points for clinicians Primary gastrointestinal lymphoma is easily neglected and even misdiagnosed as other common digestive disease due to its rarity and lack of specificity in clinical manifestations. CT-enhanced imaging of the small intestine showed local mucosal thickening of the transverse colon, segmental wall thickening of the small intestine with local dilatation.
