- Abstract
Colonoscopy screening in patients with Lactobacillus bacteremia is sometimes important for detection of undiagnosed colorectal carcinoma. 6 Similartothese species, colonoscopy screening in patients with Lactobacillus bacteremia will be the key role for detection of undiagnosed colorectalcarcinoma. 5 Patients with loss of integrity of the intestinal mucosal barrier (such as inflammatory bowel disease, ischemic colitis and cancer) also have been reported to be associated with Lactobacillus bacteremia.
