- Abstract
This article discusses a case study of a 39-year-old woman who was admitted to the hospital with painful urination. The woman underwent various tests and procedures, including a urine culture and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), which revealed multiple lumps in her bladder. Pathological examination confirmed that the lumps were bladder malacoplakia, a type of bladder inflammatory pseudotumor. The woman received treatment through transurethral resection of the bladder tumor (TURBT) and antibiotic therapy, and follow-up examinations did not find any tumor recurrence within three years. The study was conducted in China and was approved by the Ethics Committee of Fujian Provincial Hospital.
