- Abstract
A biograpy of Henry Norman Bethune, physician and renounced hero is presented. He was born in Gravenhurst, Ontario, Canada, on March 3, 1890 and studied medical school at the University of Toronto in Ontario. He was married to Frances Penny and started a private practice and as an instructor at Detroit College of Medicine and Surgery. He was an expert thoracic surgeon and had invented several medical and surgical instruments from 1929-1936 and became medical adviser in his foray in China.
