- Abstract
The article presents the annual report of the chief librarian of the American Antiquarian Society, discussing the condition and developments of the association's collections and archives as of October 1933. Comments are given particularly highlighting the activities of the society's library despite significant financial difficulties in 1932. An overview of accessions gained by the society during the year is given, including a complete list of books, pamphlets, prints, and newspapers acquired. Mention is also given to individual antiquities gained such as the clock of U.S. Founding Father John Hancock and portraits of society members and historical figures.
