- Abstract
The article focuses on the development and the implementation of the general education assessment program at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. The approach entailed a faculty driven plan for assessing this kind of education's learning outcomes. The plan involves the identification of the department's learning process, evaluation of the extent of learning, utility of the resulting information, and others.
