Abstract
The article discusses household indicators in Ukraine in March 2007. Although real wages in 2006 grew 18.3%, forecasts see growth in wages slow down to 14% over 2007 to 2008. The labor market is discussed where new jobs being created require low skills while demand for labor will grow. Real disposable household incomes will slow down in 2007 and 2008 though it grew 16.1% in 2006. Consumption will be higher but will decline due to two reasons. Trends in retail trade are also discussed.
