- Abstract
The article reports the decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals 2nd Circuit in the case 'United States v. Pruitt.' The court held that U.S. Sentencing Commission and the Judicial Conference of the U.S. are in the need to amend the Statement of Reasons form, that all sentencing judges are required to use, to bring it into conformity with the law and the U.S. Supreme Court precedent.
