- Authors
Sinwell, Sarah E. S.
- Abstract
The article examines "Green Porno," a series of Internet videos directed by and starring the actress Isabella Rossellini and produced by the cable television network Sundance Channel in which Rossellini appears in costumes depicting various marine animals and insects and portrays their sex acts. The large audience for these videos is noted. The videos are considered in terms of their use as green marketing by Sundance Channel to attract environmentally conscious television viewers. The distribution of the videos through cell phones and other mobile communication and computing devices is considered. It is noted Rossellini portrays the male's role in the animal and insect sex acts far more frequently than she does female roles.
