- Abstract
This article presents an examination into modernist English short fiction from the 1890s written by women. Topics addressed include discussion of the formal characteristics of women's fiction during the period, exploration of some of the innovations which women brought to the literary form, and their influence on broader Fin-de-Siècle English literature. Works and authors cited include Frances Huntley's "Points of View," Sarah Grand's "When the Door Opened," and George Egerton's "Gone Under."
