In this article the author provides recommendations to reading teachers, particularly women, on how to develop good reading habits in young girls. She argues that interaction such as conversations and book discussions between girls and adult women is integral for this process and examines how technology may provide distractions that girls need to bypass in order to develop a love of reading.
