- Abstract
The article provides details of the ancient Greek or Russian signet ring in the Louvre Museum in Paris, France which American poet Hilda Doolittle encountered during a visit in 1911 and matches the serpent and thistle motif which she dreamt about around the years 1904 to 1906.
