- Abstract
The article presents a study on the effects of technical grade and commercial glyphosate on the population growth and chlorophyll of freshwater green algae namely Scenedesmus acutus and Scenedesmus quadricauda collected in Luján river in Argentina. The study was conducted using the method of toxicity test and Tuckey's multiple range test on Algal stock cultures to derived the results. The findings shows that a significant decline in population growth was seen with regards to the control in the cultures exposed on glyphosate.
