- Abstract
The article presents a study that analyzes the effects of rare element terbium (Tb) on the excretion through the urine and feces as well as the distribution of phosphorus (P) and calcium (Ca)in the blood, liver, bones, brain, pancreas, and spleen of male rats. The study is undertaken through feeding Wistar mice with laboratory chow and water ad libitum. The results of the study reveal that the long-term administration of Tb inhibit the absorption of Ca and P.
