- Abstract
The article presents a study which aims to determine total arsenic (As) content in the water, sediments, and fish in Lake Xolotlán, Nicaragua. The study used water samples collected from the lake with a Van Dorn Co. sampler, hydrochloric acid (HCl), Varian Inc. SpectrAA-20 atomic absorption spectrophotometer, and cichlid fish. Results show that water As concentration were highest on the samples obtained from the northern part of the lake.
