- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the histopathological effects of gill function and Paraquat herbicide of Puntius gonionotus Bleeker. Researchers have conducted static bioassays using tap water that Bangkok dechlorinated and performed light microscopic examination of the fish tissues. Results reveal that only the gills of the Bleeker demonstrate histopathological changes after the exposure to four milligram per liter (mg/L) Paraquat in 12 days.
