- Abstract
For the problem of unclear characteristics of the flexible screw blade conveyor such as the range of conveying angles during the transportation process, a performance test platform for the flexible screw blade conveyor was designed, the transmission route was planned, and the inclination angle adjustment mechanism was designed. The discrete element simulation method was used to compare the conveying efficiency of flexible screw conveyors for flour materials under different structural parameters, different conveying angles, and different rotating speeds. The results show that the conveying efficiency of flexible screw conveyor is the highest when the conveying angle is 90°. When the rotational speed and spiral angle are fixed, the conveying efficiency increases monotonously in the range of 10°-20° and 600-1000 r/min respectively.
