- Abstract
The article discusses the case of a 73-year old woman with microcystic adnexal carcinoma (MAC). Results of immunohistochemical staining of excised upper lid mass showed positive for cytokeratin (CK)15, CK20 and carcinoembryonic antigen, and was negative for CK7. Findings from magnetic resonance imaging revealed the absence of lesion other than the primary lesion on of the upper lid. The patient underwent a two-stage Beard procedure that included surgical removal of the entire mass and a separation procedure.
