Dadzie and Morris were both born in 1952, although Dadzie was born to a Ghanaian diplomat father and a white English mother in London. Interview of Stella Dadzie by Ego Ahiawe for Heart of the Race, Oral Histories of the Black Women's Movement, BCA, 18. for research and are one of the BCA's most visited collections. These women are Claudia Jones, Olive Morris and Stella Dadzie; each one of them has made a profound impact on the Britain of today. Jones, Morris and Dadzie are exceptional historical figures, however, this essay could have focused on any three Black women activists and community leaders.
