- Title
Two Reliability Measures from IEEE 982.1-2005.
- Abstract
The article provides a brief overview on the two reliability measures from Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers 982.1 in 2005. The first reliability measure is the time to next failure, which is the predicted time for the next Ft failures to occur. Its parameters α is the failure rate at the beginning of interval s, while β is the relative failure rate. On the other hand, the second reliability measure is the remaining failures which is, define as the remaining failures predicted at total test time. Its parameters α is the failure rate at the beginning of intervals, and β is the relative failure rate.
