- Abstract
In the article, the authors present their study on the use of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) in the operating rooms and cardiac intensive care units during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Also cited are the possible conditions affecting the accuracy of sensors like surgery, hypoxia and shock requiring vasopressor therapy, and the assessment of the sensors' performance in adults without diabetes undergoing coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG).
