- Abstract
An editorial is presented on the need for better phenotyping of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and its association with inflammation and continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy. Topics include the use of proteomic cluster analysis to identify OSA subgroups with differential responses to CPAP, the potential adverse cardiovascular effects of CPAP, and the role of statins in reducing endothelial inflammation in patients with OSA.
