- Abstract
The article presents the results of the study of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) with the use of sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) in patients with type 2 diabetes. It states the 74 percent cases of DKA in diabetic patients. It mentions that the lower presenting glucose observed in setting of SGLT2i-associated DKA is due to proposed pathologic mechanisms.
