- Abstract
This article presents several announcements related to the money market. The Federal Open Market Committee decided on January 28, 2004, to keep its target for the federal funds rate at 1 percent. The Committee perceives that the upside and downside risks to the attainment of sustainable growth for the next few quarters are roughly equal. The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System agreed on January 21, 2004, to seek comment on an interagency proposal to revise regulations, Regulation BB, Community Reinvestment, that implement the Community Reinvestment Act.
