- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 42-year-old woman with acute onset of abdominal pain associated with nausea, vomiting and a distended abdomen. Patient had a medical history of chronic pelvic pain and 2 years earlier had suffered from dysuria. A cystoscopic examination performed at that time confirmed the presence of bladder endometriosis, which was treated by transurethral resectoscopic excision.
