The article presents a case study of a 40-year-old woman who was admitted to the hospital due to heavy menstrual bleeding. The patient was given 10 international units (IU) of oxytocin and methylergonovine maleate to stop the bleeding. Results of her transabdominal gray-scale ultrasound reveals multiple irregular hypoechoic spaces in the anterior wall of her uterus' fundus.
