- Abstract
The article discusses different kinds of statements that are so common that they are widely accepted without examination. It explains how these statements can contribute to significant problems at the individual, interpersonal, and societal level. In all these cases, opinions masquerade as feelings. It reports that feelings are neither right nor wrong, while opinions can be disputed according to available evidence.
