- Title
LEGAL UPDATE.
- Abstract
The article discusses several court cases related to employee benefits. In Peabody v. Davis, the court noted that an eligible individual account plan was subject to general prudence rules of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). In Quan v. Computer Scis. Corp., the court found no evidence that knowledge of the accounting issues would have led a conclusion that the stock was so impaired that it should be dumped. The case Cent. States v. Auffenberg Ford, Inc. is also discussed.
