- Abstract
The article discusses the relationship between European Union (EU) rules and international law and their impact to each other. It explores the developments of the European Community (EC) law which was shaped in terms of the international law and with the cooperation of EU's country members. It examines the impact of the separations of powers within EC law and the implications of its justiciability. It also highlights the doctrine of direct effect and its impact on the rule reinforcement of the EU.
