- Abstract
Electron microscopic visualization of the rainbow trout gills infected with I S parasitica i revealed ruptured gill lamellae, reduced or completely absent interlamellar spaces, fusion of lamellae, swelling in gill lamellae and hypertrophic gill lamellae. I parasitica i in the gill and skin of rainbow trout were also studied to gain a better understanding about host-pathogen interaction.
