- Abstract
Objective: To assess the sexual function of women of reproductive age with self-reported dyspareunia. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach, comprising 127 women aged 18 to 35 years. There were questionnaires on sociodemographic and clinical characteristics and the FSFI scale, in online format. Results: Most women (96.85%) were at risk of sexual dysfunction, being 80.31% since the first sexual intercourse. The lowest scores were without the satisfaction domain. There was no correlation between sexual function assessed by the FSFI and the clinical and sociodemographic characteristics of the sample, except for pain treatment, in which women who had already undergone treatment had lower scores on the FSFI. Conclusion: There is a high prevalence of sexual dysfunction and low scores without a domain of satisfaction may indicate that women with dyspareunia may be dissatisfied with their sexuality.
