- Abstract
In order to solve the serious waste of wood powder from Pterocarpus macrocarpus Kurz heart wood and improve the high value utilization of yak wool, natural pigment was extracted from Pterocarpus macrocarpus Kurz powder to dye decolorization yak wool. Ethanol concentration (V : V), pH value of dyeing solution, dyeing temperature and dyeing time were determined by single-factor tests. Orthogonal tests were carried out on pH value, temperature and dyeing time. And then the color fastness to perspiration and color fastness to washing were combined to determine the best dyeing process. The results show that best dyeing process is as follow. The ethanol concentration (V : V) is 20%, the pH value of the dyeing solution is 7, the dyeing temperature is 90 °C and the dyeing time is 90 min. The dyeing process is simple. It provides a new idea for waste utilization of Pterocarpus macrocarpus Kurz powder and high value utilization of yak wool.
