- Abstract
The article discusses a study which compared bronchodilator therapy delivery with a vibrating mesh nebulizer (VMN) and jet nebulizer (JN) in subjects experiencing a severe asthma exacerbation. Cited are the importance of improvement in air flow after bronchodilator therapy, the ability of the vibrating mesh nebulizer to improve air flow more rapidly than the JN to treat severe asthma exacerbations, and the strengths and limitations of the study.
