- Authors
Haynes, Jeffrey M.
- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 58-year-old white man presented to pulmonary function tests (PFT) laboratory for methacholine challenge test. The patient was administered with 2.5 mg albuterol and 0.5 ipratropium through nebulizer following the test with five-breath dosimeter technique and nebulized methacholine and spirometry was repeated after 20 minutes. He has responded substantially to inhaled bronchodilator despite the lack of airway reaction to methacholine.
