The article presents the author's insights on the utilization of crafts for the interpretation of native culture. Topics discussed include the volunteer opportunities which he discovered at Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge, the addition of craft project that can deepen the understanding of children about their natural surroundings, and the demonstration of the way the tribes have treated the issues related to water.
