- Title
LITERATURA Y PINTURA: UNAS CONSIDERACIONES ACERCA DEL TABÚ SEXUAL EN SALVADOR DALÍ.
- Authors
Villacèque, Sol
- Abstract
This study about literature and painting is based on a cross-reading of the novel Rostros ocultos (1943) and two canvas paintings, Leda Atómica (1949), and Pop-Op, Yes, Yes, Pompier, la Estación de Perpiñán (1965), by Salvador Dalí. It is suggested here that between the desiring subjet Daly and the textualized/painted objects , a tragic game is taking place, a sexual game created by an artist who feels terrified by coupling and death.
