Cultural codes are the means by which we can manifest our hospitality, but they are also what keep the wrong people out: how can this paradox be lived within the Church, if we are truly to be the body of Christ? A biblical parable and a case in practical theology allow us to approach the question by examining what hospitality means in theological terms.
