- Abstract
The article discusses the court case Doe v. Ozark Christian College, wherein the Missouri appellate court declined to recognize cause of action for negligent recommendation to a prospective employer. The plaintiff, John Doe, filed a negligence action against Ozark Christian College. The trial court entered summary judgment in favor of the defendant. The appellate court ruled that there is no duty of care to not make a negligent recommendation to a prospective employer in Missouri.
